We really loved Lexi's soccer team all last year so when they invited us to an end of the summer pool party we were in!  We thought both Jade and Jhoey were moving at this time but now we know they're both staying! YAY!!  The kids had a GREAT time and were not ready to go when it was time.  Such fun kids.

When we got back from Arizona we still had a couple weeks before school started back up.  We wanted to make the most of those couple weeks so as soon as Lex got rid of her fever she got on the plane, we were ready to hike Hawaii again!  I've wanted to do this hike for a while.  It's on a different side of the island than where we usually hike so the veiws were different.  It's long (just over 5 miles) but it's mostly flat so I knew the kids (and me carrying David!) could handle it.  So as soon as Ashley mentioned wanting to do it too, I was in!  The hike (more of a dirt road that cars can't go down) is Ka'ena Point.  It is the westernmost tip of Oahu.  It can actually be reached from our side of the island (Southwest) or from the North.  We seemed to be the only ones coming in from our side but there were quite a few coming in from the North.  It was absolutely beautiful.  The kids did a fantastic job and we only had barely a handful of complaints for maybe the last mile (and some of those were from me David was getting HEAVY!)  The weather was cooperative (overcast for part of the trip which is good so the sun wasn't beating down on us.)  All in all it was a super succesful and fun hike.

These views!

The hike was along the ocean the whole way which made for a breathtaking constant view!

The kiddos doing their thing!

Loved this rock formation.

Made it to point.  Took our shoes off and spent some fun time in the sand!

The right of this is where we came in and if you go to the left you are heading to the North Shore.

We absolutely LOVE visiting AZ.  We have such a great time and we are content just hanging out playing with cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, and friends that are family.  We never seem to stop and we wouldn't have it any other way.  Until the next time Arizona...

Splash park cousin fun!

Toddler Piano Recital

This kid was in Heaven with all the books at all the grandparents houses!

Summer Movie Fun!

Snuggling.

Lincoln logs with Lincoln (on a side note: Theresa told me that Konnor gets really upset because they have Lincoln logs but not no Konnor logs.  HAHAHA!  Poor girl!

Lots and LOTS of pool time!

Lex went to a sewing camp and she loved it!

David had his first taste of Sonic.  Don't worry son, it won't be your last. ;)

Side by side of Travis and David!!  Love this!

Lexi and I got to go with some of Travs family to see Saturday's Warriors.  She loved it and now both kids are obsessed with the movie!

David instantly loved his new soon to be Aunt Jessica!!

We may have had Macayo's once or twice... Or three times.. Not sure.  David's balloon batman!

Ryan's monkey for her monkey power.

Lexi's dolphin!

I really enjoyed the AZ scenery.  I appreciate it more now that I've been gone for so long.  I loved my runs!

This is how I walked in one day.  All on one chair!

Love our grandparents (and didn't get pictures with all of them!  Slacker!)

We already had David's birthday before we left Hawaii but his actual birthday was while we were in Arizona.  I told everyone he didn't need anything but of course, those that saw him that day had to do something!  Grandma and Papa made him waffles and strawberries and he was all smiles with the whip cream!  Later that day we had a pool party planned with Dave and Jordan, Shane, Theresa and Bryatt, The Bean's, and all the little ones.  So they decided he needed to have cake and ice cream!  I have the best family and friends in case anyone wasn't sure. ;)  My baby boy is not so much a baby anymore...  I sure do love this boy!

My dad had an awesome idea to borrow a friends boat and head out to Saguaro Lake for the day!  I was so excited and I had a pretty good feeling the kids would love it!  We went with my dad, Nanny Ruth, and Uncle Carter and I was NOT disappointed.  These kids were not ready to go home but David doesn't nap well outside a carseat or a crib and he was beyond tired! The first time around I went with each kid and they could not stop laughing!  After they each had a turn (and Nanny Ruth had one too of course!) we had a little picnic on the side of the lake and headed back out.  Lex decided she wanted to try it on her own and we were going pretty fast and she stayed on that tube!  She finally wanted to be flipped so she just let go.  Ryan wanted me to go with her again the second time but she was also all smiles!  Thanks for an fantastic day Dad!!

We got to celebrate 4th of July at my mom's house and we had a great time!  The kids played with their cousins, we had our own firework show, played in the hose, the kids made their own parade, and we had watermelon slices bigger than our heads!  Such a great time.

All the cousins on the Jones side!

You can't tell but Uncle Carter is back there.  They love their uncle Carter!

We may have gotten the high chairs mixed up!  That is David's OLDER cousin Mallorie.  She is such a peanut!!

Their parade that included the Pledge!  So cute!

We love watermelon!
