Okay time for another look at our girls around the same age!! Ryan tripoded today for the first time and I remembered I took a ton of pics of Alexis doing this. Here they are! Can you tell I love the playmat! Alexis loved it and now so does Ryan (Thanks Kerry bet you didn't remember you were the one that bought this! :) ) So Lex is on the top and Ryan is on the bottom. Makes me realize how tiny Ryan is but it's fun to see the similarities and differences. I think Ryan has a few more of my features but people still tell me all the time she looks like Trav and... she does! :) Aren't they too cute!

Some updated pictures of the girls!!!! I know it's been a while! :) Ryan actually hit 11 pounds so we're really happy about that!! She loves to giggle and play on her playmat! She is super easy going which has made my life SO much easier!! Lexie is LOVING school!!! We are up to the letter H and number 8 and she's learned all sorts of other things!! She has started coloring INSIDE the lines which I'm really proud of! Okay it's not perfect but for not even 3 I think it's pretty dang good! She really looks forward to it every day! We'll be taking a break while in AZ but we'll get right back into it when we get back!!!

So we were at the park today and Lexie decided to play with the bees (no joke she was playing with them!) I told her to get away but too late she totally got stung!!! Poor thing!! It got her right above her lip so her lip is totally swollen!! She was so brave though! She barely cried at all!! We iced it and got her some tylenol and she went to bed early but poor thing!!!

Update on Ryan...

We had our appt Monday and she had gained!! She went from 4.16 kg to 4.4 kg so we were excited! Then she had another appt today and she hadn't gained anything. So we're now supplementing 2 oz every time we nurse and if she doesn't start gaining I'm going to have to start just giving her a bottle. I plan on nursing at least a couple times a day just to give her some breastmilk but I'm really hoping it doesn't come to that. She has to go in tomorrow and again on Monday to check her weight. The doctor said all the labs came back normal and she LOOKS and ACTS perfectly healthy! I just hope everything is okay and if that means giving up somethins I want to do so bad then so be it!! I'll keep everyone posted!!!

My poor baby girl... Ryan is a little peanut. She's really small but they weren't really worried. Well Monday I took her in to weigh her to put it in her baby book and she was 9lbs 3oz which she was over a month ago. So I talked to a lady there and she put it on the chart and found she was now below the growth curve. So I took her to the doctor and the doctor said let's start supplementing 1 oz of formula after every other nursing. So I did and took her back in on Friday. She had LOST weight! I was so sad. So the doctor decided to do some lab work. She said she's not sure what it is. Ryan is happy, alert, sleeps well, has met all her milestones for her age, etc. The only thing is her weight. So I also drove to Landsthul to talk to the lactation consultant and she helped me with some thing and I have to go back in for a weight check and the lab results. I'm tyring not to get worried but, of course, as a mom it's easier said than done. Please keep Ryan in your thoughts and prayers and I will keep you posted.

I bought our AZ tickets!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!! I SHOULD be arriving on July 11th and I'm staying till the 15th of August! It could change b/c I'm flying Space A (Military standby) from Germany for Baltimore and then I have Southwest tickets Baltimore to Phoenix!! I am so excited to see everyone and for everyone to meet Ryan and of course see Alexis!! We'll be blessing Ryan while we're there and having Lexie's 3rd birthday at Grandma and Grandpa McBride's house!! Can't wait!!!

Okay so we got these daddy dolls for the girls! They are the cutest things ever and Alexis LOVES hers!! Her friend Anya loves hers too! So the other day they were both playing with their daddy dolls and they ended up on the couch together and I just thought it was the funnies thing!!!! Cristine looks over and says, "hey look Nate and Travis are on the couch together!!!"

Oh and for those of you who know my friend Cristine she is in LABOR right now!!! I am so excited to meet baby Eric!!! The Holtgrewe's are family to us and we have been so fortunate to be stationed here together for so long!! Keep her in your prayers since Nate is in Iraq as well and, although her mom is here, it's going to be tough!!!
