Our internet is down right now. We're not sure what the deal is but I just wanted to let everyone know so if you don't hear from us for a while you know why. We are going to try to see what the problem is but we're not going to go through too much trouble so we may just not have it till we get to the hotel (we will be there in a little over a WEEK!!)

I thought I should post an update since it's been almost a month since my last post. Not b/c we've been boring but b/c we've been CRAZY!! Our wonderful friends The Holtgrewe's left Germany for good last Monday and we're following close behind... Our household goods (most of our stuff except for a few linenes, dishes, etc.) left on Wednessday. We are living with a few or our belongings and a LOT of military furniture. :) It's kind of nice to live simple for a little while although I am already looking forward to getting OUR stuff back. We have a lot of appointments coming up and a lot more to do including selling both of our cars... We are sad to leave Germany and all the wonderful memories we have here but excited to begin our life back in the good ole U.S.A. Those of you in AZ we will be there on September 28th and can't wait to see you all. We will probably leave AZ around the 1st of November to start our drive to GA with the girls (hopefully they will be used to it after so many LONG plane rides!) I guess that's about it for now. I'll try to keep this up to date even if there aren't going to be pictures for a while.

So here are some random pictures from the last few weeks... We've just been hanging out so there hasn't been much to blog about but I do love our wonderfully boring life right now b/c soon it's going to be nuts!! Travis is going to get our tickets tomorrow but we should be flying out of here on the 27th of September! CRAZY!! This has been our life for SEVEN years! Our entire marriage has been in Germany. I'm excited but nervous.
The first couple pictures need a little intro... My sister-in-law Tori got Alexis a princess dress up game for her birthday. You get to put on the jewelry and whoever gets all their jewelry first wins. Well Lex LOVES it! And she especially loves when daddy plays!!! :)
This was after she won.
Travis after HE won! :) Notice he's making her kiss his ring!! HA HA!!
Sweet Ryan.
Sisters. They really do love each other.
Got crack? Hee Hee... Ryan has learned to take her diaper off. When Travis says, "are you ready to take a bath?" Her diaper is half off by the time she gets to the bathroom. Unfortunately this time she wasn't taking a bath. She just decided to take it off. I have to make sure to keep shorts or a skirt on now at all times!!!

I know everyone says it but really I can not believe MY baby is 4!! I could have sworn I JUST found out I was pregnant for the first time. She really is a smart little girl. I know everyone also says that but it's really true! She knows all her letter AND most of the sounds they make. She's working on writing them and is up to Uu in her workbook. We're trying to start a little beginner piano lessons with her and she is actually really enjoying it. Right after we write letters she closes her workbook and say okay piano time. She is a fantastic big sister. She loves going in to wake Ryan up. She is always willing to help me with her by getting me a diaper or letting Ryan play with her toys. She is definately still a daddy's girl and looks forward to him getting home from work every day. It's okay though I know she loves her mommy too. I am so proud of our little girl!
Originally we were going to go to Sternenland (an indoor play place) for her birthday but for some reason she kept telling me she did NOT want to go there for her birthday. I mean she would get out of bed at night and come tell me, "mommy, I don't want to go to the Star Place for my birthday!" Needless to say we decided we better plan something else. We decided to just have small party/bbq at the park. The kids always love being outside... I found some princess decorations at the PX and I have to say this was the most low key birthday I've done for Alexis and it was FANTASTIC!!!
Posing with the cake and cookies (yep Cristine made her FANTASTIC sugar cookies again!! I may have to try my had at these cookies since we're moving and won't have her there for the next birthday! Thanks Cristine they were fabulous as usual!)
Blowing out her candles.
Thank you Cristine, Nate, Eric, Anya, Brad, Erica, and Anni for coming to Lexie's party! We love you!

Just a quick post to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my wonderful husband. 7 years ago today... I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband who loves me and is such a great dad to our girls. I am so proud of what he does in the military and the opportunity it gives me to be home with our kids.
He is still gone on his crazy 100 mile road march but I did get a phone call from him. He asked me to pick up some epsom salt. He says his feet are TORE up and and he is limping. Why boys do this stuff to themselves is beyond me but he says he's glad he did it and glad I'm proud of him for finishing. He will be home tomorrow even earlier than we thought! :)
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Travis! I love you!
