Finally a blog post of David!!  After having contractions and thinking I was going to go into labor for 2 whole days we finally went in for my induction on Sunday morning.  I was just anxious to get it going!!  We got there about 6:30 and got all settled in.  They checked me and I was almost a 4 already and contracting like crazy but not feeling anything more than a little tightening... :)  They started the pitocin and pretty soon I was feeling the contractions.  The doctor wanted me to get an ephidural before they broke my water b/c he thought for sure it was going to go fast once we did that.  I got the ephidural and then he broke my water.  I was not feeling a thing! :)  That was about 1 pm.  At about 1830 they checked me and said I was an 8 and it should be just a couple hours.  By 1900 I told Travis it was NOT going to be a couple hours.  I told them I think they needed to check me again.  The nurse looked down and said OH don't sneeze I'm getting the doc! :) After getting the doc and pushing through 2 contractions sweet David Wayde was HERE! His birthday is June 17, 2012 at 19:33.  He weighed 9 lbs 1 oz, 21 inches and absolutely perfect!  I am so thankful for three beautiful wonderful children!

The girls are in absolute LOVE.  They both switch off who wants to hold him.  They always want to touch him or kiss him or love on him.  They are being great big sisters.  We have no shortage of help, love, and support from all those that are here in GA and those that are far away! :(  My dad comes into town tomorrow night and we're looking forward to visiting with him and Ruth!  There are a TON of pics but let's be honest you all knew that was coming.  And some of them are sideways and I can NOT figure out how to flip them...

Heading into the hospital VERY pregnant!  I told Trav today I know my belly is still big but I FEEL so skinny! :)
Right on to my chest.  Loved him from the first second.
In my opinion he looks JUST like Lexi when she was born.  Ry looks like them a little too but I think we have another miniTravis!
Sweet snuggle bug
Just to prove I had a 9 pound baby!
First "bath" at the hospital.
So handsome!
Happy Father's Day you got a son!
First glimpses of baby brother.
They did not like the pricks on his foot!
She doesn't looky happy at all right?
Ryan's turn!
Hanging out waiting for me to be discharged.  They were snuggling while watching cartoons!
David is already to go home!!!

This is not a normal blog post but I decided I wanted to write it down for people to see and for myself b/c I realized I should do my homework a little more often when it comes to my health.  For those who don't know I have something called Factor V Leiden Mutation. Yes it sounds super odd but is actually more common that people realize.  It's a blood clotting disorder which basically just means I am more prone to blood clots.  It's also hereditary meaning either my mom or dad HAVE to have it.  Neither of them have been tested but I'm fairly sure it's my dad b/c he has blood clotting stuff in his family...

Back in 2006 I had a PE (pulminary embolism which is a blood clot in my lung.)  I was on coumadin (blood thinner) for about 6 months and then was taken off.  As long as I don't have any other clots I won't have to worry about it but if I do I more than likely will be on coumadin for the rest of my life.  However, I also can not be on any sort of birth control which is has a risk of blood clotting as does pregnancy...  So with both my pregnancy with Ryan and now David I have been on Lovenox (also a blood thinner but this one is a shot that I have to give myself every day.)  It's a pain really and it makes me considered "high risk" for pregnancy but as long as I do my shots I'm pretty much fine.

With Ryan my doctor induced me about 10 days early so that I was sure to be off the Lovenox for 24 hours (because that's how long it stays in your system.)  I thought that this was due to bleeding.  If I had to have a C-Section or anything my blood is thinner so I could have complications.  While this is true it's actually not the reason I was induced.  This doctor told me if I go into labor while on the lovenox I can't have an ephidural ( all you natural people are great but I want the drugs!)  I finally asked Trav to help me research this and he found out that if I have an ephidural it could cause bruising in my spine (makes sense b/c thinner blood means more bruising you should see my stomach from all the shots!)  BUT that could cause paralysis!!

Needless to say I am hoping to wait till Sunday so I can just be induced but if I start to go into labor naturally before then I will not be having an ephidural unless it's been 24 hours since my last shot!!!  This has all been super interesting to me... Maybe not to you but that's okay it's my blog.

I really wanted to get a session of swim lessons in before David came but on post was already full!  Luckily the YMCA had lessons for 2 weeks the exact weeks I needed them!  Alexis can already swim but we wanted her to start working on the strokes.  Ryan is fairly comfortable in the water but she's definitely not quite swimming yet.  She's still not swimming but she's definitely improved and Lex can now do the breast stroke, free style and she swims well on her back as well (not exactly back stroke but she's getting there! :) ) Here are a lot of pics! :)

Yesterday was the last day of school!!!  I absolutely LOVE the summer and having the kids home.  It's no secret I love sleeping in (as much as my girls and pregnancy will let me...) and I love being at the pool.  This summer I also get to look forward to meeting the newest member of our family and having lots of visitors.

For the last day of school Alexis had an awards aseembly at 10:45 and unfortunately Ryan's Pre-school graduation was at 11:00... :(  Luckily Travis happened to have the day off and we were able to divide and conquer!!  We only have one camera so Ryan's pics were taken with Trav's phone so they're not the best but I'm just happy they both got a parent at their activities!

Alexis got a bunch of class awards and then she also received the citizenship award and an award for Honor Roll for the entire year.  In her school you must have ALL M's (meets expectations) or E's (exceeds expectations and all 1's for behavior.  Alexis ended the year with E's in Reading, Writing, Speaking/Listening, and Spanish and the rest M's and all 1's in behavior.  I also don't mind bragging a little and saying her final reading test for the year she tested at mid-fourth grade level meaning she reads as well as a fourth grader halfway through the year!!  She continues to amaze me.  I'm a very proud mama! :)
Getting her honor roll medal from the principal
Showing off her certificates. :)
Ryan finished the pre-school program she was in.  She's just been going twice a week for about 3 hours and she has LOVED it.  She had wonderful teachers and made quite a few friends.  She's also gone from no writing to being able to write her name completely by herself as well as quite a few letters and numbers.  She is a smart cookie and she's very excited to start the Pre-K program at the elementary school where Lexi goes and she gets to right "the number 3 big kid bus!" :)  Love that
Holding up her certificate (right in front of her face. HA!)

I actually forgot I had this video!  A few weeks ago I got the girls hula hoops thinking it would be fun to learn.  I guess Alexis has been doing hula hoops in PE for a while and she's a total pro!  Seriously Trav clocked at over 5 minutes one day!  I used to be a decent hula hooper back in the day but I'm blaming pregnancy for not even last 4 seconds! :)

The girls have LOVED dance this year.  I really want them to get to try lots of different activities and figure out what they love but neither one of them has had anything but great things to say about dance! :)  THey actually have a dance recital tomorrow but they had the rehearsal tonight and that's the best time to get pictures so here they are!!  I hope to get a little video posted at some point. Both of them did really well and actually seemed to really know their dances!  I'm so proud of my girls and love watching them enjoy something so much!

Once again Lexi the poser!
Always have to have a silly face!
Sweet Ryan also is learning some posing!
And some silly faces!
Sweet sisters!
These girls and their Tucker!

So proud of Ryan
And Alexis of course! :)

This is the third year we've gotten to go to Nic's annual 80's party!!!  It is always a blast!!  HEre are some fun pictures for you.  I was NOT so into dressing up being ginormously pregnant so I got a call Jenny maternity shirt, teased my hair, wore blue eye shadow and called it a day! :)  Travis procrastinated and ended up going as a "prep 80's guy."  It was a great night!!!

Emily and Bryan (Bryan is Gene SImmons HILARIOUS!) Trav and I and Keri and Chad
Keri, me, Lori, and Em (love these girls!)
Nic, Amanda, and I (the ONLY pic I have of Nic and I SO sad but I had to post it even if I don't love it!)
