Oh my sweet friend Nic. I love and miss her so much I was THRILLED she decided to come visit. It was non-stop action from the time she got here till the time she left and we could not have had anymore fun!!! We hiked, we beached, we luaued, we shopped, we remembered, (Pearl Harbor) we stayed up way too late and had to get up way too early. These are the random shots of the visit! We had a great time.

A vacation in Hawaii wouldn't be a vacation unless it included beach time. And Nic's vacation was a VACATION! I don't even know how many different beaches we ended up going to but we went to one almost everyday she was here (sometimes more than one in a day!) We made the most of her trip!
Told you she brought that coconut with us everywhere!!!
I'm pretty sure I have a picture like this at EVERY beach we went to. Ryan loves her Nikki.
Oh hey coconut selfie.
We love the sun. But Dak did NOT love the sand when he was relaxing. That red bucket is for feet cleaning before you get on your towel!
Nic even had the kids singing about limes and coconuts!
Paradise.

The Aloha Stadium has the biggest outdoor swap meet I have ever seen. They hold it every Wednesday and Saturday and I think it's a lot of fun. It super touristy but it's cheap so it's not a bad place to get some souvenirs. Plus, it's shopping so, obviously, it's fun. Only leave it to our kids to find an animal to hold while we were there. This super nice man had this awesome bird AND a baby bird. The kids played with this bird for at least 20 minutes. Nic also had way too much fun watching the guy cut open the coconuts and then she kept her coconut in the fridge and refilled it with her beverage of choice for the day the rest of her trip! I love her. Hey when in Hawaii you've got to put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up! ;) It was a successful trip!

Of course we had to do a luau while Nic was here and I wanted to try one we haven't done yet so we stuck close to home and tried out the Paradise Cove Luau which is just up the street from us at Ko Olina. I am so glad we went to this one with Nic and Dak because it was perfect for us and kids the ages of Dak, Lex, and Ryan. We ended up going one night and getting to do all the fantastic activities they had but right when they were about to start dinner it started POURING. Not just a little bit of rain but dumping gallons at a time rain. We got rain checks and headed home a little bummed but we had a lot of fun and then we went back the next day to finish our luau! I really loved this luau and it was a great time with the 5 of us!!
First in line waiting to go in!
Love these 3!
We made those headbands! They had lots of activities which is why I really liked it!
Ry and her umbrella hat!
Showing their tats AKA my favorite picure ever!
Necklaces, headbands, braclents, tattoos, a perfect day for my girls!
Learning the poi balls!
Canoe ride!
Paddling out to the open ocean! (Don't worry they had a tour guide!)
Throwing spears!
Oh you knew Nic was getting in on that!
Ryan and Daks turn. Dak got a bullseye of course and the crowd got so excited for him!
Up on stage to get their hula lesson! Love Dak's face!
Certificate of Hula! ;)
This is why it worked out well that we went back! The kids DIED geting to hold these birds! They were so cute!!
FYI I LOVE this girl!!
Proof of a fabulous night!
