27MAY16

The girls had a great year of school and were both on AB honor roll.  Considering they started school in a different state and then moved I would call 5th and 2nd grade a success!  Plus they both loved their teachers.  Alexis will officially be going to middle school next year!  So proud of my girls!

We had a bahama bucks end of school year celebration with the neighborhood!! Love this group of kids!

03APR16

I can't let April go by without saying happy birthday to this sexy guy!!  35... I just can't believe we are 35.  We technically met at 15 so we have known each other for 20 years!! (I know we were 15 because he came to my 16th birthday party with his girlfriend haha!) I am so thankful for this awesome husband of mine.  He is so smart and teaches me things constantly.  He is such a great dad and loves his kids more than anything.  He works so hard for our family and he has such pride in what he does.  35 looks so dang good on him.  I love you Travis McBride!!!

Birthday waffles!!!

This wasn't on Travis's actual birthday but if you have ever come to visit you know that Travis is the crepe king.  He loves making the kids crepes on the weekends.  We decided to try out a crepe place here in El Paso and see if they were as good as daddy's.  They weren't... but it was fun to go! :)

02APR16

We always ask the girls if they want to try another sport and they always say nah they just want to do soccer.  I'm all about them trying other sports but at the same time I don't mind that they seem to have found what they love! We were not thrilled with the way the elementary school did soccer so we decided to try the YMCA.  David wasn't old enough for the soccer there so he said we would try some flag football! :)  He had a great time and actually did pretty well for how little they are!  They mostly just practiced running and throwing and pulling the flags but he loved it and he loved his coach.

Alexis had a GREAT team and a GREAT coach!  The only bummer was there was only 1 other team to play against and sometimes that team didn't have enough players show up on game days.  She learned a lot and played well though so it was still a great season!

Ryan's coach was great but she had a lot of players on her team who had never played soccer before so her team was still learning.  Ryan was quite the little rock star on her team since she has been playing for a few years now.  She would usually score at least 1 goal if not 2 or 3!  But she also loved helping the other players on her team learn and never got frustrated when they would do something wrong!  She also had a great season!

Random date night and Trav keeping the aloha alive!

I love running the canals when I'm visiting Arizona.  They just feel so nostalgic!

BBQing and playing with the Beans, Fischers, and Beckmans!

Quinn and David!

Dressing up and matching with cousins!

I know this isn't the best mom win but they were so sweet all huddled into Ryan's bed on their tablets!

Just a few Easter Pictures!  My favorite part as always is getting the kids matching clothes and forcing them to smile so I can take some pictures. :)

25MAR16

We had a beautiful Friday and Travis was off work so we decided to hit up Hueco Tanks and get back into some hiking!  This is popular place for rock climbing as well as cool caves, pictographs and some really great views!  We loved exploring and can't wait to take the kids out again! (It's only about a 25 minute drive from our house.)  It was a beautiful perfect day to be out exploring our new area!

17MAR16

We started Saint Patricks Day 2016 saying goodbye to the Fishers but getting in a picture first since everyone matched and we all know how that is my favorite!  Then we drove out to spend some time with my mom.  The fun activity for today was the Pinal County Fair! Now Pinal County is not a big county so I was just expecting a small fair that wasn't going to be great but I LOVE a fair so I was all about it when my mom suggested it.  It was on a weekday so it didn't open till afternoon.  We showed up right before it opened and got our all day wristbands.  Oh it was SOOO worth it!! First of all because it was smaller it was not busy at all!  Most of the rides the kids didn't even have to wait in line for!  It wasn't huge but it was plenty big to make me, my mom, and all 3 kids incredibly happy!  It was an absolute blast and I wish we could go back every year!  Alexis is VERY adventurous with rides.  I swear nothing scares her!  Ryan was at the perfect height where she could do all the big kid rides she wanted to with Alexis and also all the littler rides with David.  David was happy running back and forth in the younger kid rides section and not having to wait in line at all!  It was seriously one of the best fairs (for kids) that I have ever been to!  We ended this day at Macayo's so if Travis had been there it would have obviously been my favorite day ever. :)

So cute!!

And since it was Saint patricks Day I got to match everyone at the fair AND my kids!!  Made me so happy!

Grandma!!!

Shout out to my mom who thank goodness can do spinning rides because I can NOT!  I can do scary and high and fast but spinning in circles will make me puke.  So the kids were very happy Grandma can hang better than mom!

Only kids on the small rollercoaster!

This was a Raiders of the Lost Ark little obstacle course.  The first time I went with David and literally had to push him down the slide (I'm such a good mom. HA!) After that he must have gone on this 30 times.  I am not exaggerating.  And once again no lines made that no problem at all!

These last 2 pictures were from the biggest ride there.  It went WAY up and came down so fast my stomach was not even in my body any more.  Alexis LOVED it and even though it cost extra (Lame) she had to go on it twice (second time without me...)  People were all around going that's your daughter?  How old is she?  WOW! HA!  Because everyone else on the ride were teens and adults!  Fearless I tell you!
