Travis had the day off today and I ended up having to pick up Lexi early from school b/c she said she had a headache (she did have a super low fever but she seems fine now!) So we kept her home from soccer but decided it would be a perfect night for carving pumpkins! Alexis had a blast and I can't believe how big she is. She did a good majority of it all on her own! On the other hand I think painting may be the way to go with Ryan next year! :)
Happily pulling out the seeds and guts! Not so happy. I thought she would be fine once I showed her but nope not so much!
Carving her pumpkin.
Holding the knife while daddy carved her pumpkin. HAHA!
Being the silly girls that they are!
Ryan's witch. (Trav did a great job huh!?)
Alexis was very proud of her silly face jack-o-lantern.
Travis and I were married in 2002. He is in the Army and I am blessed to be a stay at home mom who loves doing a little hair and my newest obsession, running! We lived in Germany for 7 years (and loved every minute) where we were blessed with our 2 daughters Alexis (2005) and Ryan (2008.) In 2009 we moved to Fort Benning, GA (which we also really enjoyed) and were blessed again with our son, David (2012.) Shortly after David was born we were thrilled to be moving again to Hawaii where we have been soaking up every minute possible of the great outdoors. We absolutely love life and love our little island of Oahu. This blog is mostly my way to journal and show our family and friends what we are up to!
