Random February pictures!!

 

Ryan and her sweet BFF Emma.  These 2 are the sweetest friend and get along so well!

David has been doing Ninja School (it's gymnastics for boys. HA!)  He loves it and he has the sweetest coach and looks adorable with his ninja clothes!

Baked a cake for part of our Letter of the Week and he just looked so big! :(

IHOP (David gets IHOP and Hobby Lobby mixed up all the time so he often asks if we can go to Hobby Lobby and have pancakes!) is a family Fave.  Hot Chocolate no matter what the temps outside are!

I think David is more obsessed with playdoh than any of my other kids!

Ryan has adjusted so well to her new school that not only did she get student of the month the first month she was at this school she got it twice in the same year!  And yes I will make a whole post again because I am just so dang proud of her and impressed by how well she is doing.  Her teacher is great and really has a lot of love for my sweet girl!!

Ryan is 8!!  This 8 year old girl is so fun to be around.  She loves to dance and sing.  Her love is fierce and sometimes hurts.  She LOVES to talk (no idea where she gets it...)  She loves to play with anyone who is up to play.  She is SUPER easy going and can be cheered up in 3 seconds if she's sad or upset (which is also rare.)  She seems to prefer math over any other subjects in school.  She loves soccer and being outside.  She is such a joy in our house and I'm so glad she is ours!!

February seemed to be all about Ryan!  For good reason of course!  This time was the math bee.  First, they did a math bee in just their classrooms then the top 2 from each class went for the whole school.  Ryan won the one from her grade for the whole school!!  I was so impressed and that meant she got to go to the district math bee!  She ended up getting 6th place in the whole district and I feel like that is definitely something to brag about!!  What a rock star this sweet girl is!!

Travis was in the field but I sent him tons of videos and he was super proud of her!! Lexi was cheering for her the whole time! (They had it in a separate room so we just watched a live video feed which is great for nerves!

Ryan's awesome teacher showed up to support her and she was so happy!! She loves Mr. Rodriquez!

He even brought her a gift and she took it to school for a while to play with her teacher!

You better believe we took her out for some ice cream afterwards!!

We also picked up her BFF Emma after to come over to play (this was partly bc it was her birthday the next day and she really wanted to play with Emma!)

Travis wasn't home this year for Valentine's Day so the kids decided they needed to do something for me.  They woke me up with breakfast in bed and decorations in my room.  These 3 kiddos make me so happy.  Love them like crazy!

The Jones Family came to visit us!!  This is why I am loving living in El Paso!  It has always made more sense for us to go to AZ to visit but living so close people can come here and we can spend more one on one time!  My kids LOVE their cousins and I was so close to my cousins growing up I want my kids to get the same friendships!  Plus I just love all my nieces and nephews to pieces!! It was a fun weekend with 7 kids, 4 adults, and 2 dogs! :)
