Travis decided that for his birthday he wanted to go check out a place he had heard of called Callaway Gardens. He heard they had a cool butterfly exhibit and Alexis LOVES butterflies. We also heard they gave great military discounts so we had to check it out. This place was FABULOUS!!!! They must have 20 square miles of absolutely beautiful scenery. They have multiple lakes for fishing plus one with a great beach for swimming, a beautiful garden, a butterfly house, a birds of prey show, plus golfing, hiking, bike riding, and other things depending on the season. We will be going back here a LOT and if you come to visit us this is one place we will definitely be going! My only disappointment of the day was that I didn't check my camera battery so it died about halfway through. I was SOO bummed b/c there were a TON of cute pic opportunities in the garden but we'll be going back so we'll try again.
They also had an egg hunt going on since it was the day before Easter. We let Ryan do it but it was all those egg candies that neither of my girls like so we gave Lex a choice to go see the flowers or do her egg hunt and she chose flowers all the way!
Ryan eating the candy from her hunt. Daddy and the girls at the beach. It was a beautiful day but the water is definitely still a little cold!
That didn't stop them from getting their feet wet!Ryan loving the sand.
I just love her pose. The butterfly house. So fun. The butterflies were EVERYWHERE!
*** I almost forgot to mention the cutest thing of the whole day. The thing around Lexi's neck is a camera that Grandma Kerry bought her 2 years ago for Christmas. Lately every new place we go she's wanted to take her own pictures and we always forget her camera. THIS time though she remembered and it was adorable to watch her take the pics she thought were interesting. One day I need to do a Lexi pic post! :)

So cute!!!! I love their shirts! It looks like you guys had a great time. The one with Trav and the girls reminds me of Bostalsee!
Sounds like so much fun. Can't wait to next year when we are there.
What a fun place. I love to see butterflies too!
It looks like you had a great time. I wish I could come and visit and go with you. But, since I am now in Yakima it will probably be a while before I make anymore trips.
Aww cute! I would love to see pics that Lexi took! I love looking at things through a child's eyes!
