I am so proud of Alexis. She had to start a new school in a new state in the middle of the school year.  She didn't know a single person and she had to do it all on her own.  She had no problems making friends and she had no problems jumping right into the work.  Of course, things were a little different and it took a little time getting used to but she adjusted so well!  She recieved great report cards (basically all A's with a few B's but they don't actually use A's and B's...) And her teacher absolutely loved her.  The last month of school she was nominated by her classmates for student of the month.  She was so proud of herself and so was I.  I am so grateful that she is so adaptable.  I can not BELIEVE I will have an 8 year old next month.  She is such a great kid!

 

Why does she always seem so small when she does things like this??  She gets very shy when she is on stage but it's so cute.
