The day we were scheduled to fly out of Hawaii happened to fall on Lexi's birthday...  We didn't leave until late afternoon so we asked her what she wanted to do (but it couldn't include the beach or mud :( because we had to check of the hotel) she picked the Children's Museum which worked out perfect and then we took her to the Spaghetti Factory which she also loved.  The best part is we flew in to AZ the next morning and Grandma and Papa had strawberries and waffles waiting for her!!  So our sweet oldest daughter is 10!  She is growing up to be a wonderful girl.  Some of the qualities she has that make us butt heads are also some of my favorite qualities she has!  She is so stubborn but I love that she stands up for herself.  She has her own ideas and they aren't always great for a 10 year old but I love knowing she has original ideas!  She is SUCH a great big sister and so helpful to me anytime we are out.  She is absolutely beautiful.  She does so well in school.  She NEVER gets in trouble at school and her teachers always say she is a model student and super respectful.  She makes friends easily!  She has made it clear she is going to be a zookeeper, author, and pro soccer player.  She has so much spunk and I know it's going to serve her well in the long run!!  I love that girl with all my heart!!!
