With the kids back in school it was time to do a girls day which obviously means a hike! Upper Maku'a Caves is another one over on our side of the island. There is a huge cave at the bottom and then a short climb up there are a couple more smaller caves with a spectacular view! The hike was short and fast but it's pretty steep and it had lots of loose gravel that made it a little bit of a harder hike. It was a beautiful day though! It's funny that our side of the island is called the "desert side." Great hike with my great friend!!!
